Treatment
TECHNOBOIS contains very fluid fungicidal and bactencidal agents in a water solution, leading to better penetration of the wood, providing deep protection and greater effectiveness against insects which are the primary cause of wood-dust and of mould which results in bloom.
Protection
Wood is a noble material that must be protected from exterior stress due mainly to the weather and light for long-lasting wear. TECHNOBOIS is the perfect solution for protecting wood as a resuit of its following three properties:
- Water repellent: due to its waterproof binder made of very fine particles, it prevents water from penetrating but doesn’t form a film.
- Porosity: although it is totally water-repellent, Technobois provides adequate porosity for vapour exchange. It allows the wood to breathe.
- Anti U.V.: coloured Technobois surface coatings are made from transparent iron oxides which absorb ultra-violet rays, protecting the surface of the wood from damage caused by these rays.
Colouration and décoration
To cover the entire range of consumer requirements and needs, two types of surface coatings are available:
- Technobois: penetrating and finishing coat, available in clear or colours (see colour chart), with a silky flat finish.
- Technobois GLOSS: clear surface coating. Silky gloss finish. Ail of the TECHNOBOIS finishes (coloured or clear) let the grain of the wood corne out.

Moreover, it offers ail of the advantages of a water-based paint as opposed to traditional products in a solvent medium:
- Totally compatible with the material.
- ODOURLESS AND NON-TOXIC during application and after drying.
- Material can be cleaned with water.
- Can be applied to ail types of wood including those with a degree of humidity greater than 20% without risk of peeling or flaking.
- Very easy to use, providing a professional finish with no runs or streaks.
- Very long-lasting.
The maintenance and rénovation of TECHNOBIS require neither sanding nor scraping.
A simple coat will do after dust has been removed from the surface. All of the finishing coats in the Une can be waxed, polished or repainted after they have been thoroughly dried.
